About The Bibliophile

The acoustic guitar is named Simone. The cello is Riley, and the bass is Hitchcock (homage to Alfred Hitchcock!).

Salut, reader! Thanks for taking the time to read this page.

I’m guessing you came here for information about yours truly, so let’s have at it. My name is Andrew, better known on WordPress under the username leadereader, and I’m really just an ordinary guy who likes the arts a lot. This coming August I will attend Stevens Institute of Technology, a college that really deserves a lot more recognition than it currently gets — seriously, it’s like a miniature MIT. And it’s right next to NYC, too!

Currently I reside in Boston, so if you’re in the area and wanna hang out, feel free to hit me up! I’m always down for some intelligent conversation. Of course, that’s only if I get through my daily allotment of reading first. 🙂

My interests are pretty wide-ranging, but I get the feeling that (A) gloating here would be in bad form and (B) since I’m writing about the books I read, chances are the astute reader will come into contact with them in very short order.

For now I’ll just say, I’m a writer pretending to be a scientist. Someday I’ll give up the goat and move comfortably back into the world of letters to make my living, but for now, let’s let writing simmer as a casual obsession. 😛
